"As a child I simply wanted to give people gifts, and without the money to buy them, I resorted to making them. Poems, drawings, painted rocks, ceramics, carvings, and found-objects collages. It happened naturally and I have always loved handmade things the best.
As a mother, sharing artmaking with my children, I learned creating was the gift. Somehow creativity connects us to the Master Creator. I am a lucky that through the years, while striving to become a better artist, I found inspiration around other artist souls. This community is the most lovely and caring tribe on earth.
Each painting or sculpture I make has a story, a reason for the subject, size, composition, shapes, and colors. Sometimes I add a message to reveal that story. Other times, I leave the story a mystery. Art has meaning purely individually, and a beautiful magic exists in the chemistry between our eyes and our heart. It is something weird and wonderful.
